The Music Industry Soccer Six was launched at the height of the mid 90's Brit Pop era, and pioneered a whole new celebrity sports movement.
Major stars have included Rod Stewart , Oasis , Blur , Pulp , Stereophonics , Iron Maiden , Ant & Dec , Jason Statham , Danny Dyer, Damian Lewis , The Libertines , Kate Moss , Alesha Dixon , Take That , Olly Murs , Rudimental , Tom Grennan , The Darkness and professional footballers and influencers such as KSI , Joe Sugg , F2 , Zoella turned out at Soccer Six helping establish it as the most renowned event of its type in the World.
In 2022, the Soccer Six event returned to Mile End Stadium and inspired the original Soccer Six team to reform and plan their 30 year reunion. In 2025 Soccer Six will re-present The Musos Awards and their two major celebrity football events in Manchester and London.
Ex-pro footballers including Sir Geoff Hurst , Paolo Dicanio , George Best , Paul Gascoigne , Lee Sharpe , Frank McAvennie , Ian Rush , John Barnes , Bryan Robson , Neville Southall , Steve McManaman , Robbie Fowler , John Fashanu , Peter Beardsley , Teddy Sheringham , Vinnie Jones and more have attended Soccer Six tournaments in major stadiums in the UK.
Soccer Six events have included intimate live music performances from participating bands and artists including established and new acts from the unique Musos Awards , The Players Player musicians’ event on Thursday 6th March 2025.
